Holiday orders placed between November-December have until January 15th of the following year to contact us regarding returns.

As with all beds, some people prefer a firm feel, and some prefer a softer feel. We find that kids like their CordaRoys soft, and adults tend to prefer firm. For this reason, CordaRoy's products are completely adjustable.

Our liners feature a high-quality YKK zipper with a locking slider for child safety.  An adult can access this zipper by simply using a paperclip, as shown here.

You will notice that the zipper handle has been removed. This is a child safety precaution to prevent access to foam.Insert a paperclip as shown to allow the zipper to move. Don't forget to remove paperclip when you are done.

To remove the foam, unzip your liner and scoop out the desired amount of foam. You may want to save it for future use. Check out the video below to see how to add additional foam!

There are so many places you could take your CordaRoy's convertible beanbag to! Some of our favorite locations are: Vacation homes, basements, lofts, theater rooms, and even dorms! You could even bring it camping with you - just don't take it near water as the foam should never get wet ;)

Other common uses are: pregnancy chairs, autism therapy, sensory therapy, guest bed, gaming chair, designer accents, and don't forget sleepovers!

When the bed is deployed it is full of air and very fluffy. This is fun for playing but if you dive right in for a night's sleep you'll find yourself in a "trench" of fluff.

To remove the "fluff" and prepare your bed for sleeping, evenly distribute the foam (flip like a pancake 2-4 times) and allow the bed to lie flat for as long as possible before use. This allows the air to seep out and the foam to lock together making for a more solid sleeping surface. Use a couple of thick quilts or blankets as a base to make it even more comfy. To speed up the process you may also use the "human rolling pin" technique. Simply stretch your body out on one end of the bed and roll to the other side a few times. Try it! You'll dig it!

The short answer is very comfortable!

More comfortable than an airbed and will never go flat on you in the middle of the night.More comfortable than a pull-out sofa and you'll never have to feel a metal bar digging into your back.More comfortable than a futon. A LOT more comfortable than the floor! Not as comfortable as a Tempurpedic mattress.

While our beds are meant for temporary use, there have been countless testimonials over the past 20 years from customers who have used them for months or even years as their permanent beds.

Yes. This is not the "tiny white beads" that kids could inhale and choke on. This is polyurethane foam - the same foam that a pole vaulter falls on but ours is cut into randomly shaped pieces. We also use high-quality, child-safe zippers on our inner liners which lock the zippers in the closed position for child safety.

Adults can still gain access to the foam if needed by simply using a paperclip in place of the zipper handle.

Our foam is environmentally friendly:

✓ Made without ozone depleters
✓ Made without PBDEs, TDCPP, or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants
✓ Made without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals
✓ Made without formaldehyde
✓ Made without phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
✓ Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)

Your product will arrive vacuum packed. Simply remove the bed from the plastic (carefully) and place the bed inside the chair cover. Fluff to loosen and activate the foam. It may appear flat at first but give it some time to fully expand, typically 3-7 days depending on the size you chose.

The lumps that you might be feeling is the foam that has been compressed, due to the nature of our packaging. The foam will break apart, it just needs a little help. Continue massaging the lumps, and scrub them into each other as the friction this causes will help them separate a bit easier. You'll do this from outside the fabric, you won't have to go inside, to get to the loose foam. Over the next few days, with normal use, it will continue to break down and become softer.

Feel free to start using it at any time. Enjoy!

We recommend that you unbox your compressed foam product as soon as possible. Polyfoam will ALWAYS re-fluff but may take a little longer if left compressed for several weeks. We recommend unboxing within the first 4 months. Anything outside of this, the foam may not bounce back exactly the same as it was before compressing.

If you feel that it's not what you expected, don't panic. Just contact us for easy, free help. We will NEVER leave you hanging.

CordaRoy's was started in a garage in Gainesville, FL in 1998. Since then we have sold over 1 million convertible chairs. We are still family-owned and operated by the original founder.

CordaRoy's was featured on the hit show Shark Tank where we scored a deal with Lori Greiner.  See the full Shark Tank interview here.

The average lifespan of a CordaRoy's Convertible is 15 years

The average cost of a CordaRoy's Convertible is $249

In 15 years you'll pay just $1.30 per month for the most comfortable and versatile piece of furniture in your home!

CordaRoy's convertible furniture and pet beds are made by using only 3 parts and designed to last forever - outer cover, inner liner, polyfoam fill.

Outer Cover: Most CordaRoy's outer covers are safe for machine washing and drying. Check the small white care tag on the inside of the cover for specific instructions. It's at one end of the zipper on the interior of the cover.

Inner Liner: Spot clean only with water and mild soap if necessary. Like most beds, your CordaRoy's bed will not fit in the washing machine so it's important that you protect it. You can certainly use your own sheets/blankets for protection but our Bed Protectors provide you with waterproof protection on both sides of your bed while allowing air to escape through the side panels. We highly recommend that you purchase a bed protector since our products last for several lifetimes. Check these out here! Bed protectors can not withstand heat. Wash on a cold cycle. and air dry!

Foam Fill: CordaRoy's uses high-quality, shredded, furniture-grade, polyurethane foam in all of its foam-filled products. A simple "fluff" will usually make it as good as new but if you ever need to replace it or simply add more you can purchase it on CordaRoy's website. Purchase more foam

We take our lifetime guarantee very seriously. If a CordaRoy's product ever fails due to workmanship, we'll repair or replace it for the LIFE of the product.
